I’m Taylor, the recipe creator, blog writer, SEO specialist, and food photographer here at Fresh Cup of Joy.
I share traffic and income reports to (1) keep track of the numbers and have a succinct record of them for my own sake, and (2) share my food blogging journey with others! This is going to be a very real post, sharing exact numbers, income, and more.

Fresh Cup of Joy is now almost 3.5 years old, and I’ve had phases of consistency throughout. Over the past few months, I’ve been blogging consistently in my favorite season…Fall!
This month, I’ve published plenty of soup, stew, curry, and slow cooker recipes, and I’ve also shared a handful of roundup posts (listicle style), as my blog has grown to a point where I can now share collections of recipes! We have also had some visitors and so we’ve been eating out in the city more often, with less time spent on recipe development.
This November, I was able to share 10 recipes, and 3 recipe roundup blog posts!

Google Search Insights
Google organic traffic is continuing to climb, with some ups and downs due to the rising and falling of food trends. I have been working on publishing winter and evergreen recipes that could help with this!
Pinterest Insights
Pinterest continues to be a strong traffic driver, especially in the Fall.

Lessons Learned
Pinterest is a strong source of traffic and requires consistency and volume. While I’m building long-term Google traffic through SEO, I can focus on Pinterest marketing.
