Method
- Melt butter in a skillet. Add apples and lemon juice. Cook 5 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and cook 4 to 5 more minutes until thickened and soft.
- Cool before using or storing.

- Freezes well for up to 3 months
- Use in pies, crisps, turnovers, or on oatmeal
- Make ahead for Thanksgiving or fall baking
