Healthier Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup Recipe

This is my favorite pumpkin spice latte syrup recipe, but a healthier version! It's two steps and it only takes 6 minutes to make!
Prep Time 1 minute
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 6 minutes
Servings: 2 cups
Course: Breakfast, Coffee, Sauce
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut sugar or sugar of choice
  • 1/2 cups maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice or equal parts cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and stir on medium heat until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Lower heat to low-medium and heat for 5 minutes. Do not let it simmer or boil.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool before transferring into a glass jar. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness: Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar or maple syrup to suit your taste.
  • Pumpkin spice blend: If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you can make your own by combining equal parts cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  • Storage: Store the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • How to Use: Perfect for lattes, coffee, tea, or even as a topping for pancakes and desserts!
  • Consistency: If the syrup thickens too much in the fridge, simply warm it up slightly before using.
