Ingredients
  

  • 5-8 Fresh tomatoes
  • 1-2 onions
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 jalapeños
  • 1/2 c cilantro
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4.5 oz can diced green chiles

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Food Processor

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in your food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse or blend to your desired consistency.

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the tomatoes, the better your salsa will taste. Our favorite tomatoes include new girls.
  • Adjust the heat: If you like things spicy, keep the jalapeño seeds in or add an extra pepper. For a milder version, remove the seeds or use a different type of pepper.
  • Consistency matters: For a thinner salsa, add a little more lime juice or water. If you like it chunky, chop the ingredients finely or pulse less in the blender.
