- 2-3 pounds flank steak cut into strips
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1.5 tsp sriracha
- Pepper to taste
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water
- Green onions sesame seeds for garnish
Coat the sliced flank steak with cornstarch.
Place the steak in the slow cooker and add beef broth, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, sriracha, and pepper. Mix well.
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Thicken the sauce with cornstarch and water mixture.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
