Ingredients
  

  • 1 pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 10 pepperoni slices
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 3 tbsp ricotta cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a bit of space around the edges.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese, then add pepperoni slices evenly over the pizza.
  • Dollop small spoonfuls of ricotta all over the pizza.
  • Sprinkle fresh basil on top, along with Italian seasoning and black pepper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some grated Asiago cheese with the mozzarella.
  • Adjust the amount of ricotta based on your preference—some people love extra!
  • Consider adding a dash of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
