Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese optional: add some Asiago cheese for extra flavor
  • 10 pepperoni slices
  • 10 pineapple chunks
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. Evenly spread ½ cup of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella evenly across the pizza, then add a little Asiago if you want an extra cheesy bite.
  4. Arrange the pepperoni and pineapple chunks across the pizza, spacing them evenly.
  5. Add a sprinkle of black pepper and Italian seasoning to taste.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden.
  7. Let the pizza cool slightly, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adding Asiago cheese gives an extra tangy, cheesy kick.
  • If you prefer extra crispiness, pre-bake the crust for a few minutes before adding toppings.
  • Using fresh pineapple? Try to cut it into small chunks for better caramelization and flavor mingling.
